KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises. Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons. Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property. Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards. Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates. Other duties as required. Qualifications: Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position. Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense. Registered as a security officer. High School Diploma or GED required. Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements. Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure. Clearance: Must possess an active U.S Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required. Willingness to take a polygraph and upgrade clearance as required.
